Last week, an adult female victim was attacked by a white male suspect who fled the scene upon confrontation.
The incident took place between the campus parking lot and the apartment complex at 290 Big Springs Road. The white male suspect was wearing a green sweatshirt and no pants. He is described as being 6'0" with a heavy build, shaved head, and as being in his late 40's.
The suspect jumped out of the bushes and pushed the victim to the ground. The victim screamed and was heard by a witness who confronted the suspect. The suspect subsequently fled the scene in a dark gray or silver, four-door Acura, according to an email sent out by the University of California Police Department (UCPD).
UCPD reported that the vehicle was last seen leaving from the south campus parking lot at Big Springs and Valencia Hill, heading westbound through the campus.
Anyone with information related to these cases is asked to contact Riverside Police Department Detective Linda Arnold at (951) 353-7100.
