If you’re searching for something to enhance your Halloween party, look no further than this sweet treat! These ghost-themed chocolate-covered strawberries are the perfect Halloween snack.
Prep and cook time: Two hours
Serving size: 10 (2 strawberries per-serving)
Ingredients:
1 pound of strawberries
4 ounces of white chocolate chips
2 tablespoons of butter
1 ounce of semi-sweet chocolate chips
Steps:
Fill a saucepan one-fourth of the way with water and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and place a large heat-safe bowl over the pot, making sure that the bowl tightly covers the pot. Make sure there is about one to two inches of space between the bowl and the water.
Add white chocolate chips and one tablespoon of butter to the bowl, stirring until completely melted.
Wash and dry your strawberries.
Dip your strawberries into the white chocolate until they are completely coated. Lay your strawberries on a piece of parchment paper. Place them in the fridge for 30 minutes to cool.
Melt your semi-sweet chocolate chips in the same manner mentioned above.
Pour the semi-sweet chocolate into a plastic sandwich bag. Cut a small tip off the edge of the bag to create a DIY piping bag.
Pipe out a ghost face onto each white chocolate coated strawberry and then place strawberries into the fridge for at least 30 minutes to cool. For best results, allow the strawberries to cool overnight.
Serve and enjoy this spooky Halloween-themed treat!
