Learn to make this delicious apple tart for the fall season.
Prep time: 25 minutes
Servings: 6
Ingredients:
- 1 pre-rolled puff pastry dough/pie dough
- 3 large red apples
- 1 lemon
- 4 tablespoons of applesauce
- 1 tablespoon of sugar
Instructions:
Start by preheating your oven to 400° F.
Place your puff pastry dough in a pie mold. Poke some holes in the dough using a fork.
Add your applesauce and spread it across the pie dough, ensuring that it covers the entire bottom of the dish.
Cut your apples into slices and lay them in a spiral pattern over the applesauce.
Next, squeeze your lemon juice over the apples.
Sprinkle the sugar across the top to give your apple tart a caramelized flavor.
Put your tart in the oven and bake for 30 minutes or until the crust starts to look golden-brown and the apples look soft and slightly dark.
