San Diego, Calif. (Sept. 29, 2004) – Sailors assigned to the amphibious assault ship USS Boxer (LHD 4), take time to give back to the community by helping the San Diego Food Bank pack boxes of food for needy families. The crew filled 560 food boxes to distribute to needy families with children. Each box contained enough food to feed a family of four up to one month.
