Happy Earth Day, Highlanders! In honor of the celebration of our beloved planet, it seemed only fitting that we spotlight the greenhouses that gather along Kim Wilcox Drive. These research facilities aim to study numerous plants and citrus crops, with projects ranging from observing pollination patterns to experimenting with different environments and climates. When you walk past these greenhouses during an arduous hike up to the School of Business, you might notice condensation pooling on the glass and green leaves resting against the windows. Take the time to appreciate the work that the Department of Agriculture and the researchers of botany and plant sciences are doing to improve crop growth and understand the inner workings of nature.
